Cookie policy

How and why we set cookies on the Doctena Trust Center and how to change your preferences. We use the fewest cookies necessary to operate the site and to learn how it is used, with consent through CookieFirst.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Some cookies are necessary to make the website work — for example, to record your consent choice or to protect against abusive traffic. Others are optional and run only with your explicit consent. The Doctena Trust Center manages this consent through CookieFirst (provided by Digital Data Solutions B.V., Netherlands).

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary: cookies without which the site cannot operate. These are set automatically and do not require consent.
  • Preferences: cookies that remember a non-essential choice — for example, your selected language. Set only after consent.
  • Analytics: cookies that help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. Set only after consent and configured to anonymise the visitor (IP truncation, no fingerprinting, do-not-track respected).
  • Marketing: not used on the Trust Center. We do not run advertising on this subdomain and do not embed marketing pixels.

Change your preferences

Click the button below to reopen the CookieFirst consent banner and review or change your choices. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent stops new analytics cookies from being set and instructs Matomo to discard any future behaviour signals; previously-recorded anonymous aggregates remain in our analytics archive for 13 months.

If you would prefer to disable cookies at the browser level, every modern browser allows that under Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the consent banner itself from remembering your last choice.

Similar technologies

The Trust Center uses localStorage only to remember the CookieFirst consent state across page navigations. No cross-site tracking, browser fingerprinting, session replay, heat mapping, advertising pixel or social-network pixel is loaded on this subdomain.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when a new cookie is set or removed, when the retention of a cookie changes, or when a new analytics consent option is added. Material changes are recorded in the site changelog.
